The Daniel Boone Merchant's Association is again partnering with The Historic Speedway Group to present the Cruise-In With a Twist Series. For 2010 the shows will be held in memory of Joan Freeland-Hopper. The shows are scheduled to be held in the Big Barn Convention Center parking lot and admission is always free. The final show for 2010 is a special event on August 27 with a Live Band and dancing inside The Big Barn!

Come see numerous spectacular vehicles from various periods in automotive history. Enjoy the music as you stroll through the vehicles and into some of the many quaint shops we offer for your shopping pleasure. Food will be available on site for your convenience.

James J. Freeland, a longtime resident of Hillsborough, began developing then Daniel Boone Country in 1965 as a recreational area for the people in Orange County and is still owned by the Freeland family today. The Shops at Daniel Boone are the most unique tourist attraction of Historic Hillsborough and there is something for the young and old alike.
